Valuation and Value
The core purpose of any business is the Value it brings for the stake holders.
Value is like the Character of the man. If the business brings great value, it is natural for the market to love it. This takes its Price Up and through the Roof.
Valuation is like a man’s Personality. Personality can be also built artificially through alternative means like putting ‘make up’, wearing expensive clothes, shoes and other accessories. Valuation when built artificially will eventually burst like a bubble and crash. However, character cannot be constructed artificially. It is the core of the person. Likewise Value Creation too is the Core Purpose of the Business that cannot be artificially pushed up. So any business should focus on the Value Creation tirelessly.
When Character is built, what follows is sustainable Personality. Personality is not necessary good looks. Good looks is one dimension of Personality. Personality is the manifestation of Character. Therefore people like the Late Abdul Kalam Azad had both a strong character and a magnetic Personality
