Why? & WHAT?
These are 2 pillars of a Business. The 'WHY' is the Purpose of a Business and their 'WHAT' is the manifestation of their core PURPOSE, As a Financial Advisor the 'Why' can be "to help people understand their money and make the most of it's power". This "Why" that should never change, but the "WHAT" of your Business is the "WHAT" you do to manifest your "WHY" is the flexible part. It can take shape of:
A) Education Programs that you conduct
B) Design Games to explain the WHY
C) Songs you make to explain the WHY
D) Lecture Series on YouTube and so on
The real heart of what makes visionary companies so successful is that they jealously guard their WHY or their core ideologies, However, the manifestations of that core ideology which is their WHAT are always open for change and progress. For example, WalMart’s drive to “exceed customer expectations” is their WHY( core ideology), but the customer-greeters at the entrance to their stores is a practice (WHAT they do) that can change.
Thus be mindful that you don't tinker with the 'WHY' of the Business, but be creative to keep revitalising their ”WHAT" of your business to keep the freshness alive in your marketing efforts.
